Four option groups
Asian congresses (IMCAS Asia, AMWC Southeast Asia, AMWC Asia-TDAC) cost the least, carry content matched to Asian anatomy, and need no complex visa. This is the sensible default.
Large European congresses (IMCAS World, AMWC Cannes) deliver the most information per trip, but cost three to four times as much and lean heavily on Caucasian data.
US meetings (ASDS, The Aesthetic Meet, ASLMS) offer the best hands-on training value through cadaver labs and practical sessions, but visa procedure is the biggest barrier.
Focused symposia (Facial and Rhinoplasty Symposium) give the highest applicability per unit of cost once you have settled on a core service group.
How to decide
If the goal is general updating, choose an Asian congress. If the goal is one specific technique, choose a focused symposium. If the goal is international relationships and equipment sourcing, choose a large congress with a co-located exhibition.
